Art by Design

As a boutique manufacturer, Austin Bryant Moore integrates the precision craftsmanship needed for quality luxury interiors, into the proven process of scalable manufacturing. No matter how intricate the product or design, we are able to deconstruct it into a set of tasks that can be repeated based on the volume need.

A chance meeting through industry connections in 2012 was the catalyst between owners Scott Moore and Chad Austin to partner in a joint venture that became Austin Bryant Moore in May of 2013. Our goals were to establish ABM as a multi-faceted design/build manufacture that could not only fabricate any aspect of an interiors project but could also draw on our background in fine furniture and the trades to successfully facilitate exceptional front end design. With this concept of Artistry by manufacture, we have developed and implemented an “ABM standard” that allows us to have an intimate relationship with each project through design, production, and installation. As we continue to grow, we are constantly widening our services and seeking the talented artisans it takes to produce superior products that meet the standards of our luxury brand.

Scott Moore

Scott Moore started his journey in the interiors market as a passion for designing that wasn’t being met in his job in the corporate environment. After attending a woodworking school in NE Georgia, Scott began building furniture and casework projects for friends and neighbors in his garage in Buckhead as an artistic outlet. As his skills progressed, he was able to grow from a hobby into a business. Saddlecreek Design was born, established in 2004, which he later moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Franklin, Tennessee in 2010.

Scott lives in Franklin with his wife and 3 children who all enjoy spending time in the wonderful outdoors that Tennessee has to offer. While he is a little too old to enjoy the noise of the shop nowadays “The Duke,” a Pembroke Corgi, has been with him since the garage days.

Chad Austin basically grew up on jobsites with a father and extended family that were all highly skilled tradesman. Through the years his experience of watching and fetching tools grew into all aspects of home building, including, rough framing, trim work, and finishing. At age 22, Chad designed and built his own home, including all aspects of construction and even built the finished cabinetry and furniture.

In 1999, the Handcrafted Furniture Company was born with its first furniture line and shortly thereafter, moved the company from Oxford, MI to Nashville in late 2006. Chad lives on a 300-acre property near the Cumberland Plateau, where his wife and 2 children board several horses for their clients. On weekends he can be found maintaining trails or riding the property on the back of Hurricane Ivan, a surefooted walking horse.
